Does the motorist have enough burdens to shoulder already or do you think that we have been having it easy up until now in relation to road taxes.

Will we all be driving around in cars that are more economical and that do not attract this higher road tax? Or will it be the case of devil may care and drive a 4X4 ... who's business is it if you do anyway?

What are your views in this subject please? Perhaps you don't own a car and have no thoughts one way or another about this.

  1. How on earth can you ask such a question ?

Do you own a car ?

The British motorist pay the highest taxes in the world  on their cars. And don't forget the police has been given total authority to hunt every single motorist for any given misdemeanour in view to extort more hard earn cash.

We are robbed and owning a car is a crime to be punished for over here.

  2. I drive a 4X4 I live down a rough drive in the middle of nowhere, We tow trailers with it and use it for deliveries for our business. I feel I am being pilloried for something I really need. Mine is no Chelsea Tractor it works for me. I cannot run my business without a large vehicle

  3. No - this is just more highway robbery.  I'm fed up of the light fingered, sanctimonious idiot.
