Do you think we really have evolved beyond cavemen?

Nope.

Our species hasn't changed since the last ice age. If one of them was someone transported to the future you wouldn't be able to tell them apart from one of us,, not physically anyway. The cave man might have a little trouble with the lap top at first, but only because he'd never seen one.  

We're the same critters. We just have more toys.

We had, but we seem to be devolving backwards, crime violence etc
