Do you think we should have a joint olympics and paralympics?

And/or do you think there should be pressure on the tv companies to broadcast the paralympics in exactly the same way they do the olympics?

If no, why not?

The Paralympic athletes decided that the Paralympic where better held after the Olympic as the media would not give them any coverage if they where held at the same time.

They should give the Paralympic more coverage then what they get (This year I am Pleased with the coverage Australia will have 8 hour per day on ABC 2 available to HD television)

And 2 hour on ABC.

If I made rules the channel who broadcast the Olympic would have to cover the Paralympics for 5 hours per day at least and show at a reasonalbe hour.

I think we should, yes, and in the meantime I do think, in the spirit of equality of opportunity, they should broadcast the paralympics.

It is good that they are (apparently) going to have the paralympians as part of the celebration parade in London - I will believe that only when I see it.

As to whether we will ever actually have that, I doubt it - the government cant even be bothered to give us the basic human rights until at least 2025, let alone equal rights! If it does happen, I dont think it will be in my lifetime, unfortunately.

I will watch from the heavens, with interest!
