The question came from a discussion about the Romans adn Greeks doing the same thing, as well the huge population we have at present. This is not a question of emotions, it is a logical question, planning ahead and creating a responsible efficient society

  1. How about we do the same to you - that should reduce it some.

  2. NO, I THINK WE SHOULD KILL ALL THE PEOPLE WHO THINK ABOUT KILLING DEFENSELESS DEFORMED INFANTS.

  3. NOOOO AND IF U THINK WE SHOULD THAN THATS JUST WRONG WE SHOULD SAVE EVERY LITTLE BABY WE COULD

  4. I understand your rationale, but the way you presented it was too radical for anybody to agree with you.

I think that it should be at the parent's discretion as to whether or not they want their deformed / handicapped child to live.  This does raise moral issues, and would likely enrage many ignorant people who believe that humans are more than just animals walking this earth.  You will get the catholics all riled up, who have been fed the fabricated teachings of Catholicism since they were born and believe that we are all God's little angels sent from heaven.

Personally, and along with many philosophical thinkers, I believe that there is nothing morally wrong with ridding the earth of handicapped / deformed children - however only at the discretion of the parents, since you will always have people that will believe so strongly in a certain religion that they cannot kill their own children (because God is watching ;).

  5. Well, if we do kill them off it would lessen the burden of our society. Even if we do, many people will rebel against it and cause a great chaos. They say that theres a girl that has two faces and people think they are gods. People who are really religious actually believe in it and will probably do anything to save them. So I'll say no and besides if we kill them its like putting them into the corner of a wall and they'll eventually fight back.

  6. Who decides who is a burden? Be careful what you wish for-- sometimes you get it. What if your IQ is not quite high enough, are you disabled, because you will  not contribute enough to society? If we want a superior culture, where is the cutoff-- 120 ?

I think a fellow named Hitler had a similar idea.
