i know this has nothing to do with R&S but i love just you guys :-)

We chip our pets and our cars! And yet we dont chip the most important things at all!!

Not necesserialy having surgery to put a small chip on our children, but maybe as a braclet or earings or in trainers!

Many children go missing everyday, and think about how many would be found if chipped.

What do you think? Is it a good idea, or does it go against human rights?

Or is it becomming necessary in the evil place we call earth?

  1. Absolutely not. I don't need the government to mind my children.

  2. absolutly not. the rfid tag is nothing more then a n**i barcode tattoo.

  3. I wouldn't be opposed to it as an OPTION, but I wouldn't support mandatory chipping.

I prefer to simply do my job as a parent, and know where my kid is and what he's up to.

  4. Personal privacy is one of our most important rights as humans.  It is good to know where out children are, but chipping is an invasion as well as an act of laziness on our part as responsible adults.

  5. The laws would be unworkable. No, no way.

  6. I think as a parent you should keep an eye on your kids instead of relying on a chip to return them to you. If they are too small to speak and tell their name, they are too small to let wander around unattended.

  7. This is the stated motive, but the hidden motive may be far, far worse...think of the mark of the beast. No one will be able to buy or sell anything without it. And the technology exists right now, waiting to be used.

  8. I think all children should have their Social Security numbers tattooed across their back, have homing beacons installed on the top of their heads, have red flashing lights sewn into their clothing, and be kept locked in ultra secure safe rooms until they are 25 years old.

And remember spay and neuter your children.

  9. The Atheati chipped your children and your entire family while you were sleeping.

  10. I think chipping would be good for children and adults with mental retardation, autism and Alzheimer's. I truly believe that some people would benefit from this. Case by case only.

  11. We love you too!!

Personally, I don't think it's such a good idea. Would the chip be removed when the child reached a certain age? To me, it's more like ownership, rather than good parenting. A good parent should know where their child is without the need for machines!

  12. we already know where you are, no chip needed

  13. well...

i'd love it if my mom calls me and says, "hey what are you doing at the BAR?"

its an okay idea if they're under the age of 6. then they dont really care and they're more prone to disappear.

  14. NO.. do you have any idea what that will turn into? Big brother thats what..

Freedom is important... and yes that includes believing in religion.

  15. Embedded GPS tracking of kids would have strong benefits.

Lost child? Have the chip respond over the cellular network with the GPS location.

Of course, many kidnappers and nutters would just cut the chip out, so no real benefits there.

  16. That would be the mark of the Anti-Christ that the Christians are fearful of. It's not 666 like everybody thinks.

  17. Some people claim that they have already been tagged by extraterrestrials.

  18. The Atheati knows and sees all! There is no need to chip anyone!

  19. There is a device being sold now that is worn by children and Mom has the finder unit in her purse. But the responsibility remains with her watching a loose child not kibitzing

  20. This is a bad idea, but we are actually already in the process of doing it. Bush's patriot act essentially signed into law the real ID act, which if not appealed and thrown away...we will all have to get a government issued identification card with an RFID chip in it. We will not be able to open a bank account, go into a government building, obtain employment or use public transportation without it. Is it just me or have we the people given up our constitutional freedoms for a sense of false security.
