Do you think we will see gas prices drop?

When do you think we will see the gas prices drop? Or do you think we will invent a car that does not require gas to operate?

What are your thoughts?

I don't think any of the presidential candidates (to my knowledge) has mentioned anything about gas. If you think about it gas prices affects every thing. Businesses closing because they cannot afford the delivery fees. People renting movies instead of going to see one. These are examples of how the gas prices are affecting our economy.

oil is now more than 100. a barrel, so what you're going to see is much HIGHER prices very shortly.

Not for a while. the gas just went up $0.10 overnight

I don't think the prices are going to drop.  Even if they did the gas station owners aren't going to let them because they can make a bigger profit keeping them high at the pump when their price is lower.  People have grown accustomed to higher prices and I think we are going to see a lot of station owners taking advantage of that.  How else can they have two Shell stations in the same town buying gas from the same distributor and their price at the pump being so much different from one another?
