  1. I guess the problem here is not the language,but state of mind at that moment and it will be so boring.I think we have some international languages they are good for communication

  2. no we would have killed each other off by now

  3. Yes i do, a worldwide language would distinguish the need for translation services and so many signs, scriptures and content. It also makes life so much more easier for tourists.

    Im 100% for a worldwide language and currency

  4. Very good question - makes one think that's for sure.

    I think the answer would have to be yes - because different languages plus different cultures have caused much confusion, misunderstanding, miscommunication and even hatred and wars.

    So if we had all spoken one language, I am sure all those things would not have stood in the way of advancement as they surely have.

  5. Absolutely, why do you think English is spoken in so many foreign countries?  Their governments realize the advantages of speaking the language of the most civilized, wealthy and technologically advanced countries.

  6. Yes. If everyone agreed to follow the rules, then humanity would have advanced much further than it obviously has.

  7. our African ancestors may well have done.  Language changes remarkably quickly- try reading literature from 200, 400, 600 years ago and compare.  You wouldn't understand a word your 10th century ancestors were talking about.

  8. No, because even if we had all spoken the same language societies would still have been isolated from each other, so what difrence would it have made? It's 'spoken' not 'speaked'...

  9. Nope! Language doesnt make problem till you can communicate properly. Things are planned(if thought so!), 'coz the other thing never happens!

    So, whatever the case, we are now what we are & will be so!

  10. While I am not a believer - the Bible says that people tried that many many years ago but they thought they could reach God with a large tower - God decided against that and destroyed the tower and made it so that all of the peoples spoke a different language so they "could not come together and try to reach him again".

  11. At one time, all people spoke the same language.  But, God confused the tongues because everyone had decided to build a tower that would reach into the heavens.

  12. No because the ancient civilizations were so far from each other that if they could talk to each other it wouldn't of had made a difference. Also, now there is translators at the U.N so everyone knows what everyone else is saying.

       The only thing would be that explorers would of had been able to speak to the Indians but then the explorers might of not had gotten the land that they had got so I would say that we would of had not advanced much faster if humans had always spoke the same language.

    Good question though. =>
