Absolutely.  "It's not a matter of IF, it a matter of WHEN", said some famous scientists.  "No species live forever", they added. Nothing is constant in the Universe.  Right now all the conditions are met for life to flourish on this planet;  this may not be the case a few thousands or even a few million years from now.

The planet could become too hot like Mercury and Venus, or   too cold like Jupiter and Saturn.  Or the composition of the atmosphere could change.  When the ozone layer is depleted we could be killed by harmful rays from the Sun.  Or we could be killed by an asteroid impact, the kind that wiped out the dinosaurs 65 million years ago.  How about another ice age?  Don't lose sleep over this though;  it's very unlikely that any of these events will occur during your lifetime.

Yes, after a long time something all humans will go extinct because some resources humans NEED will get all used up and we won't be able to adapt and then die.
