They have so much raw talent, and these days all their stars play in Australia anyway. With a legend like Bennett Coaching them and teaching them to "play" for 80 minutes and to want to kill, like Aussies do, do you think they'll become great?

  1. theyll NEVER beat Australia

  2. nope.the last time he coached the australian side.we got beaten.i think he run out of ideas.coaching a team for over a decade will surely taking it's more pressure on him.that's why moving to the dragons will make him more hungrier.but coaching the kiwis fulltime wont make those coconuts played more greater than the aussies.

  3. no

    nrl is a english game

  4. it will just make them more competitive not great.

  5. I don't think the national coach in Rugby League has much chance to change the team dramatically. Usually they get 5 days or so before a test when the squad comes together - unlike other national teams where the coach has the squad for months even years - (crickets a prime example - even soccer for the world cup Hiddink had two years and two 3 month camps with the players)

So he may be able to tweak a bit of strategy into a game plan - but there aint that much more he can do.

  6. The Kiwis are intimidated by the Aussies... no matter who the coach... once they over come that.. they will be better compitition for us Aussies!!

  7. um no.. they will never be like australia.. ever..
