  1. I think ANYONE commiting adultery should have the nerve to tell there spouse that they want out, if there cheating they are not happy, so why stay?

  2. No-one in the West does. And in the Muslim world only women suffer for it.

  3. if women r going to jail for commiting adultery, men need to go to jail too, that means more thn half of th population will be in jail, i do not think so becuase it is a personal choice and you do not harm anyone but yourself when you commit adultry

  4. Do you think MEN should?

  5. No.  Perhaps one may conclude that adultery may be immoral ( regardless if it was committed by men or women ) and while that may be a sin, it does not constitute a crime.  =P

  6. No, and neither should men.

  7. And what of the men? Should they be castrated?

  8. No. This isn't Bethlehem.

  9. That would undoubtedly reduce the incidence of adultery. It should apply to men too.

    EDIT

Jano, you're pretty keen on having men castrated, aren't you. What does that say about you.

  10. If you like that sort of thing, move to Tehran.

  11. In general NO.

And definitely not unless the men they are with are in the next cell.

  12. Duh, it's not even illegal, besides if women were arrested for adultry and go to jail, then so should men and they all be castrated and that way, you won't have so many jail rape cases.  =P

  13. Why should they, if men don't?

  14. If men go to jail for the same thing.

  15. Yeah, let's send them all to prison. But only if the men go too. How many states if turned into prisons could house them all, two, maybe three? What a brilliant idea.

  16. That used to be the case in some cultures. In some religions today they are murdered, not jailed. That happened to two women recently who were simply accused of adultery. Whether the accusations were based on fact, I don't know. This was in some Ayrab country.

No, even though it is immoral and against everything I believe in, I don't believe that anyone should go to jail for committing adultery with another consenting grownup. ♥ ∞

  17. No, adultery in the western world is not a criminal offense and no one should be punished for it in a criminal capacity.  Adultery is immoral, whether committed by men or women, but doesn't constitute a crime, in the legal sense.
