Do you think women would be competitive?

against the top pros in motocross? Carmichael, Stewart, Villipoto, etc.

  1. Women are generally more flexible than men so definitely yes.


  2. I can only answer this question from what I have seen in the racing scene in Australia and judging from here I don't believe that women as a whole have the same skills to beat the men.  

    I am not saying that women are not good riders but the best female rider in Australia would not beat the best Male rider.  Here they tend to have female only events and some of the women are very good, but they don't have to be anywhere near as good as the guys to get sponsorship especially if they are good looking.

    I have always told my kids that they are in the wrong sport and while my daughter did do motocross for a while, her main sport is ballet and any guy prepared to don the tights always got a much better go at any ballet competitions.  Much the same seems to happen with the girls in motocross and I have 2 sons who race.   \

    Hopefully some of the women racing will take the next step and beat some of the guys but at this stage I dont think it's going to happen.

  3. yep.women have this way of doing things and they aint as hard on gear as men.they could be a big threat
