Question:

Do you think you are a hypocrite sometimes?

Do you think anyone can escape this title and never make a mistake? Why do I get labeled a hypocrite for asking a question? I ask direct questions and people return criticism and I wonder --knowing what I've said and considering it, are you also being a hypocrite by accusing me?

I posted a question the other day about people making assumptions. I was told in the context of my question there was an "assumption." I never denied that I don't make assumptions myself. I just can't understand why people attack me for that. Have you never done anything hypocritical in your life before? If not, then you sure must be perfect people out there on yahoo answers. I'll admit I'm not perfect. What do you people out there think about the word hypocrite? Do you think it's always a bad thing to act against what you say? Can a person not change their mind? Please I would appreciate objective and open minded answers. If you throw accusations my way, then your answer is pointless. Thank You!

  1. I find it VERY DIFFICULT to hide my true feelings.

If I don't like something, it SHOWS! :)

Therefore, I do not see myself as hypocritical at all....

If I like a person, they KNOW it.

And if I don't, they know that, too .... :)

Sometimes, I wish I could hide my true feelings, but it seems an IMPOSSIBLE task for me. :)

  2. Well, I'm perfect....not really.  Was trying to be funny to lighten this up a bit.

Sometimes we humans goof up.  Sometimes we say one thing and do something else.  Sometimes we go our merry way thinking we're decent people and sometimes we get busted.  A guy once said to me,"You are quick to judge."  It got me thinking.    I was offended at first, then angry, then I noticed much later--egad, I AM quick to judge!!!  Now what do I do?  Change?  Adjust?  I still hear him in my head when I make quick assumptions.

Eees ok.  Don't be so hard on yourself.  Give yourself some credit for critical thinking and self realization.  We learn something new every day--sometimes even about ourselves!!

  3. There are so many different dimensions to people;

and we can be called a hypocrite

simply for being who we are.

You might get called a 'hypocrite' when

in fact your showing a different side of you.

Few people match an image perfectly.

We are all 3D characters in our on story

    if you look closely nobody

    really makes sense.

  4. All the time. Everyone is.
