im funny.. well at least i think i am... does laughing at your own jokes count? anyway.. are you funny.. can you make people laugh?

No.  And that's the one thing I would change about myself.  I love people that can make me laugh.

yes, unfortunately. i tend to think im hilarious, while other people just stand around in an awkward silence when i tell my jokes, and im just standing there going 'get it? get it?'

oh well, you are your own harshest critic so as long as im impressed, im happy :)

If you can't get anyone else to laugh at your jokes, there's nothing wrong with laughing at them youself.

I think I'm pretty funny too - it's not my fault no one else is intelligent enough to appreciate and understand my rapier wit.....

Apparently. After all 'laughter is the best medicine.'

I work with asylum seekers and two occasions stick in my mind.

After a rather difficult interview, the asylum seeker was feeling very depressed. We had just left the office when he stopped in his tracks. 'How do you do that?' he asked. 'What?'. 'I thought I would never laugh again, and now I'm laughing.'

A former resident visited the hostel. I wasn't in the office, but as I walked passed the door, I heard him say, 'Sometimes I have never laughed for weeks, but I only have to see Felicity and I start laughing.' I went into the office and said, 'Ahmed, I heard that. Just what do you mean?' and he started laughing.

I have a friend who is sometimes very depressed, as though her motto is 'Always look on the dark side of life.' I always make her laugh when she's leaving.

Ive got a quick wit, and im hard to understand.   when people get to know me and understand how i am they think i am funny.  but straight off the bat no.
