As far as problem solving goes. Say you have to find an item in a game and bring it back to someone. I'll usually come up with ideas in my head where that item might be and search in all those places. What do you think?

  1. i played a video game about the history of england vs the world. something like that. it was a role playing game about how the church was   taking over the entire continent because of one preist who was searching for power. it basically the same story as the roman empire or any other holy war in the past. awesome game and awesome way to learn about olden times history

  2. Well, in the example you gave, the only way your logic would be accurate is if the game creators also implied the same logic.  That's not always the case.  But yes, I do believe video games can help you with problem-solving and logic, if you're playing the right game.

  3. I think that Puzzle games and RPGs could increase your problem solving skills, but it really depends on the game and how much strategy/thinking the game developers require you to use to advance in the game.

And they could teach you a lot of other neat stuff...vocabulary, using your imagination, etc.

Heck, I even learned how to fly a plane! =) ...then again, it may be different on a real aircraft.

  4. Sure you could learn some basic stuff like that, or more advanced stuff. Video games can help you with your logical thinking with stuff like what you said, vocabulary with weird words that get brought up, mathematics even with like buying and selling virtual stuff. I learned TONS playing video games.

Video games have helped my like SO MUCH.
