Do you think you can help me with this?

How to I find what I want in life? I've racked my brain all through-out high school and even now in college about what I want as my career and I'm so lost. Also, I'm so frustrated because I want to have a skill again. Due to an unfortunate injury, I cannot be a gymnast any longer and I have no other skill. I can't sing or dance or play an instrument and it kind of upsets me. And I was recently on the depo. shot and I gained a lot of weight from it and I've been trying to workout and eat right and everything, but I can't seem to shave off any pounds. I know this is kind of a rambling question, I just wish someone could help me out with any of these. Please help me...

(p.s. I'm a college student and a part/full time worker (depends on the sales for that week), so I barely have time for any lessons in anything, which sucks!)

  1. your legs work you can see you can talk count your blessings.

About your school stuff this is what i did pick something anything and do it the best if you get you really good at it you will find out you like it. IF YOU STILL DON" T like it at least you didn't waste time sitting around wondering aout life's purpose.

Bottom line get out there and do something

  2. It really depends on what you like to do. Follow your passion and eventually you'll figure it out. But if you absolutely need a suggestion I think cooking is the coolest thing in the world. Start out small at local restaurants and then move on to bigger things. But again it depends on what you like to do and what kind os personality you have. Good Luck!!!!

  3. A couple months ago I was trying to figure out what I really wanted from life and I realized if I had that answer my life would be a complete waste of time. Don't worry about having skills or what you need to be, what you are suppose to be will eventually find it's way. I know it may not do much, but living life is the best thing you can do. You don't have to be a world-class anything, just be yourself. People will appreciate you regardless of what you can and can't do.

If letting things happen isn't quite your style you could also try talking to your counselors at your college. They will be able to work with you and figure out a career path for you based on your likes and dislikes and how well you perform in certain courses (English, History, Science, etc.) Best of luck!
