I didn`t go. Went to college for 2 years after school. Had zero interest after that for more studying. Just wanted a job and to be supporting myself financially. And, i still don`t regret it.

I`m just curious to know for those who went or didn`t what they think!

  1. Well for me its essential to do what I want to do. It'll be annoying that it takes that long but worth it when I get there :)

  2. i left school at 16 went to work for my dad. went back to college at 38 best thing i ever did, enjoyed it immensly. although my dad is a millionaire businessman and brother and sister earn 50k + a year i am the only one with A levels and i'm currently doing a degree.  can't wait to have letters after my name !  lol xx

  3. I, personally, loved every minute of University. I studied abroad, and now I have graduated am moving to New York, with an average 2:1 from the University of Westminster business school in london.

University was a great time for me, socially as much as academically, but I can understand those that find college too boring, and I have respect for those that did go straight to work, as good friends of mine did.

  4. It's not for everyone, but I'm all for having a variety of different life experiences, so I've decided to go after all. The great thing is you can return to study at any point in your life.

  5. I would say gain more.

I'm nearly 18 and start Uni in September to do a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering over 5 years.

The wage is high and I know I will enjoy it so for me personally I feel I would gain more but in the end it is down to personal preference.

  6. Well if you're wanting to earn more money apparently university graduates on average earn about 25% more than those who stopped at A levels.
