Do you think you would be able to stand a long duration trip to Mars without going insane ....?

I personally couldn't stand it. But with the real crew they would know each other before they went on the mission.

The most important thing in improving morale during these long trips is for people to keep busy and avoid boredom.  On long-term missions on the Mir space station, duties include tending plants.  Although the original purpose was to study the affects of microgravity on plant growth, they also found that tending plants helps keep people sane.  

I think that tending plants would actually keep me fairly sane.  It would give me a sense of purpose when there was no other real work to do.  It would allow me to have a short-term common goal with the other people around me, to build teamwork.  (Even though we already have a long-term common goal, it might be hard to stay focused on that on a day-to-day basis.)

Also, if I had Yahoo! Answers, I would never get bored. :)

That probably wouldn't be good for me.

But if I had guys that I could cope with that would be good.

And anyway you wouldn't be bored because the felling you are in Mars i gonna keep you thinking how far you are from home.And ther is gonna be a lot to explore.

im already insane, but really i would be too excited to be too irritated with everyone.
