  4. Pitiful is not a word that comes to my mind when thinking of the Chinese.  No.  I think they are pitiful enough.

  7. i think you have a misconception. i'm chinese but i live in singapore , and i have many friends who are native chinese,who were born there and grew up there. they're NOT pitiful at all. the govt may oppress the people, but nowadays, the people are getting educated and speaking out more. they certainly are not pitiful.

    you must think that because china is communist, then the people must be really tied up and isolated. but china is what many call ' the communist country which is not communist'. if you ever visit china, take a close look around you. it's very un-communist.

    Chinese people (who have not been polluted by coming to America) are respectful and humble. They value learning and know the price of sacrifice.

    I am eager and glad to be relocating to China in a few weeks.
