h***s Yeah.  The only drawback would be the friggin gas cost.  You might as well get a loaded, stretch, full time four wheel drive Hummer.

Seriously I bet gas is going to run you at least $100 a week.

gas is expensive- does it have the original engine? what about insurance. might be a better car for your dad.

The hood is too big for a young driver. This coupled with the low seating position makes it hard for a novice to be sure of where all corners of the car are at.

It is unstable for high speed maneuvering, and has poor brakes when compared to a more modern car.

Leave such cars to grandma's who look more at home in them that a teenager.

It depends what your looking for. 1968 Chevy Camar's are amazing looking cars, and they are a classic. If you want to have a fly looking car, then the camaro is great, if you care about gas mileage and the environment a lot, then thats not the car for you.

If you want something practical, helll no!

It will kill you on gas and insurance, but other than that, it would be perfect.
