  1. I thunk/think more money = extra happiness but not sure about everything else. It can't buy love though!

  2. No, I don't think this, more money does take away some of your worries, but you find others to fill its place, I'm sure at this rate it must be human nature to find problems for ourselves.

However, more money buys quicker health care (where I live at least), which in turn leads to better energy levels for life....and its true its mostly the poor that die younger.

But 'happiness' is an attitude, its got very little to do with cash, or how many pairs of shoes you can buy.

  3. Money can't buy happiness. But it sure can buy a wider variety of misery.

I suppose it depends what makes ya happy though.

My father wanted to be the richest guy in the graveyard. Spent his life in pursuit of the almighty dollar-blew his own head off with a shotgun just shy of his 75th birthday when he found out he wasn't gonna be the richest guy.

  4. no money cant buy everything unless aperson is a money grabber but then i dont think they end up happy in the end

  5. No, but I think more money -> easier to live a healthy and safe lifestyle -> live longer.

(Eg. you can afford better quality food, a car with better safety features, a house in a safe neighbourhood, good medical care, yoga classes etc...)

  6. My view is money may only give you better security, it cannot buy you happiness, love and life, and some of the happiest people i've known don't have a lot plus in my experience those who do have a lot of money just seem to want more, though not all can be put in the same box.

  7. Man doesn't live on bread alone.

  8. Dunnoo I'm a VULCAN.

    Live Long and Prosper.

  9. No...my parents made this mistake. The could have all the money in the world and it would still be h**l.

  10. Sometimes.

It's not the money that's the deciding factor.  It's the person.

  11. I think more money=more instantaneous access to instant gratification which has a higher turnover ratio for happiness (think of drug addicts that need more each future time they do drugs to get the same level of high). Therefore, more money could equal extra happiness, but definitely more content.

extra happiness comes from what your passions are and how you achieve your passion, which then creates more positive energy which you then try to fight harder to live longer to stay closer to your passion (ie: one man fighting for his country is more successful than ten hired mercenaries fighting for money).

  12. When u r poor u always want more money, but hey, we've got a roof over our heads, food in our tummies, and shoes on our feet so we are better off than others, I reckon it would make me a bit happier to have more, just so you don't have to struggle to pay the bills, we cut our own hair and can't afford new clothes etc., and takeaways well, no way, so about another A$100 per week would cover everything, stressing out about money, I used to do that for years, but not anymore, except the things u cannot change and change the things you can, but laughter is suppose to make you live longer, so being poor we take the micky out of ourselves (make fun of), cause there's not much else to laugh about too sad!
