Do you tip Sonic?

I normally do.Sometimes Im unsure how much to tip.If I just stop to get a $2 drink do I tip $1..??

Yes.  I do tip them $1.00 every time, even if I go through the drive through.  Most of the time, I park because you get your food faster.  I'd probably have to think about tipping $1 on a $2 drink, though.  My orders are normally for the entire family.  If you can afford it and want to help some out that makes "very little" in wages, then do it - if not, tip when you can.  I wouldn't worry about it too much.

well i normally let them keep the change if it is less than a dollar. this is funny the other day i went and this girl is like do you want your change, and i'm like yeah is two dollars. We dont tip the people at whataburger that sometime bring the food to our table do we.

depending the order i do, but not nearly as much as u would a waiter.  maybe 5% on a big order, nothing on a drink only.

It depends on what I order.  Sometimes I let them keep the change if it's under a dollar then sometimes I'll give them more.  It also depends on the carhop's attitude.  I use to work at Sonic a long time ago and the tips came in handy.  I would keep them in a jar and count them at the end of a week's work.  Sometimes I would have as much as $30-$45.

I tell them to keep the coin change.  Normally I'm only there for there happy hour.  Half priced drinks!
