Do you train in martial arts with a structured training schedule?

Or do you just go with the flow and train on whatever it is you want for the day?

Which one is best and why?

  1. A schedule is important for balanced development--you need a proper balance between work on fighting skills and conditioning work...

  2. you need sceduling, this might be all in my head but I found i got better faster training on a scedule

  3. As an instructor and a student ive found that you cant have a "black belt in xx years" schedule unless you have perfect flexibility-perfect balance-perfect muscles etc....

You train on strengthening your weaknesses and continuing to improve your stronger points....

  4. im going to hafta say, no schedule. i mean u need a schedule to train daily unless ur injured. But ur body has a biological clock and unless ur fighting at the time of day u've been training at maybe u should try training when ever but every day or every other. This way ur bodys clock doesnt adjust to one time of training a day.
