Do you trhink anything should be done about MBTA trains going too fast in public areas?

i am heartbroken, i just read the article about the little boy in revere that got hit by the MBTA train in Oak Island ST. in Revere. They say that the train was going 60 mph and that the residents have been complaining for years. now do you think that the mbta should do anything about this? i certainly think they should! to read more about this tragic story please visit:

  1. Not to be cold hearted, but the fricking gates were DOWN and this idiot ducks under them with her kids?????

    The speed of the train is irrelevant.

    What needs to be done is for people to learn when the gates are down at a railroad crossing YOU DON'T GO AROUND OR UNDER THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!


  2. Yes, I do think trains should be restricted to slow speeds when going through congested towns. It's a terrible story, it made me really sad to hear it this morning.  But bottom line in this case, was that the people crossed the tracks when the flags were down.  It didn't matter how fast the trains were going in that case.
