Just look at the TV screen, and you'll see an apparently equality of women and men in TV, numerically speaking.

But of these women, how much, according to you, can be a fairly good approximation of the "girl next door", the everyday woman, and how much are just oversexualized eyecandies?

  1. pretty much none of them are showin th real deal     th ppl on tv nd in mags ect r all heavily made up with a touch up team behind a control panel to make them look like that

  2. I think the media puts expectations upon women of how they should behave and look.  The media paints women as gorgeous, able to have careers raise children and still be very feminine looking after a mans needs. The reality is very different and this just puts pressure on women because it causes them have to live up to unrealistic expectations of themselves.

  3. The media is capable of portraying women realistically, but for whatever reason, it chooses not to.

  4. I don't believe much of what the media says about men or women-the media is primarily interested in infotainment-they don't care about facts or research or educating the public.
