  1. Some votes actually count more than others because of the electoral college, thats why I believe the electoral college should be scrapped and we go to a straight popular vote.

    McCain for President

  2. I try to convince myself that it does, but I don't think so. I think that the elecetions are bought if you know what I mean. (My opinion) » I would love for Obama to win, and I honetly think he will especially where he picked a really bad choice of a running mate. With that said, in November I bet that we will still see McCain win. I hope not, but that's usually how America works.

  3. absolutely not

  4. It so important that about a million dead people will cast their vote this fall.

Now that, my friend, is a class act.

If it's not important why is cheating to win so important?

  5. Of course every vote counts.  All the votes are used to determine who will represent the majority view.  A presidential election is not determined by the popular vote, but by the votes of the electoral college.  Local elections are mostly a result of the popular vote, so you can see more directly how they count.

  6. Not really

  7. Only in swing states.

  8. Not if libs get their way.  Recall how they tried to disenfranchise all the military ballots from Florida in 2000.

  9. If you are referring to the US election, then the answer is "Possibly".

In the presidential election, yes, as a state's entire electoral delegation is won by the candidate who polls the most votes in that state (even if it's only 1 more than the leading opposition candidate)

In the House and Senate elections, then no, as most house races are a single affair (one district returns one congressman / senator)

  10. educate yourself on the process we use- electoral college. Then youll be able to answer your own question with your own opinion. An educated one at that. :)

  11. Unfortunately not.. otherwise Bush would have never been president..

  12. Correct you are!!  And some people believe the world is flat, that trees fly, and well, Ydk.
