Do you trust a guy who calls you my friend every other sentence?

I have to put my hands up and admit that I do use that expression sometimes. Fortunatly or otherwise I have nothing to do with John McCain or his rival. Whether I trust someone that said that to me is another matter.

No, I wouldn't trust him.  However, there are some cultures where they use that term a lot.  So unless he's a foreigner I'd have my doubts.
