Do you trust charity shop workers?

for I have visited a charity shop worker`s home

yes i do trust them they are giving up there time to work in a charity shop for no money!

so not really

but i dont think any bad of them either

they are after all doing the work they do with little pay, little glamour and little notice or thanks

i often buy outa them, cos im poor ya see,

but im more an animal charity kinda person, i think of them as much more trustworthy and more akin to myself

its usually older ladies, shall we say, that work in charity for cancer etc, and although they seem nice, yes they do seem like theres something hidden in there too, definately a weird vibe comes off them (or maybe the smell  cos they are old haha;-p)

but isnt that the same with most people

and certainly with most shop workers, they do watch yoru every move, and its creepy and off putting

and charity shops are so small you feel their old eyes following you everywhere you lurk

Yes i do Cus i manage a charity shop were people give up there time to help us raise money. The person who said that little profit goes to the cause is wrong until you do this kinda of job you will never understand how much work we do to create that cash . Also we don't get to just take stuff we like as that is stealing everything is paid for and recorded also it has to go out on to the sales floor first.

Oh yeah we also get shop lifters so we need to keep our eyes open and not everyone who works in a charity shop is old I'm 24 and my youngest vol is 15!!!!!!!

all those ppl who say they work for nonprofit organizations end up with most of the moneY LOL

and oh yeah nonprofits get bigger profits than rest of the other organizations and donate little to the cause they represent

PS, I used to work in a charity shop & yes the staff do get pick of the stuff. But we still had to pay for it with no discount so quit moaning & get volunteering.
