But do you trust our government?

If you do than why?

If you dont why and what reasons.,

I will say I dont trust them on bit. They kill people and lie to us.

It may be for out protection be we have the right to know the truth.

Nope, our government has a history of brain washing our citizens, letting their corporations take advantage of us, and using covert operations to keep favorable leaders in countries that are rich in natural resources.

No. I trust no government. That was the point of the Constitution.  That is the easiest lesson to glean from history in any country during any period in history.  Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

I do not trust the government.  People in government use their power to get their own way.  They also use that power to subject or squash the ideals of people whose ideas conflict with their own ideals.

And, as you indicated, they keep secrets as if we (the people) are not intelligent enough to handle the truth.  Yeah right.

Well it is good to see there are people who see only the truth and not the mask of lies they feed by the controlled media and government that is very wicked and corrupt. I agree with everyone else here that one should not trust the government but we all must realize they do what we allow them to do.  Sure they trick people to get richer and more powerful but are the people not to blame for being so easily fooled? Yes governments lie to the people but if the people fall for it shouldnt they really be the ones to blame. The guy towards the top had it right power corrupts absolute power corrupts absolutely.  We the people being elect the government. That is a government of the people by the people so as the people we - that is all of us hold responsibility for what they have and will get away with.

No I do not. Sheeple, er, people want everything given to them without thought anymore. Everyone looks for a handout from the government. Every time money is handed out, where is it coming from. Taxpayers. Not anyone working under the table or those "undocumented employees" from south of the border. Us tax payers working our butts off so that the government can give an extra $200 to some woman who keeps pushing out babies because she KNOWS the government will "help" her.

Nope, sorry, I believe in the smallest government available and still keep things going. No special interest groups able to stand in the private sectors way.

I'm voting for Mr. Barr this time. McKain or Obama just won't do. Both will sell the US people out.
