I am certain we are given propaganda rather than news, I don't know whether it's getting worse, or I am getting more educated, but the BBC seems to be telling more outright, and provable lies than it used to.

So it even is done by the arabs. Spreading disinformation, I mean. I don't trust our or any country's/people's news. I'll start to believe it if there's corroborative reports and maybe video. By that page it seems all cultures have learned the power of the media.

Absolutely not-- All news sources have their own agenda and report what helps them. News and information has to come from many sources to get a bit of truth--- truth is what you find, not what is reported.
