  1. No, I do not. There studies have been inaccurate for a while now.

  2. I know this may seem paranoid but I have very little confidence in anything beginning with the word federal.

  3. I totally agree. No I don't trust them. There's a huge concern about BPA in plastics leaching out in our food now b/c they approved polypropylene plastics based on 2 commerically funded studies...and ignored a large number of adverse private studies.

  4. The F.D.A , offers  you the red and blue pill. One for "dont ask just take it and probably die" and the other " know my reality and die anyways!

I say We rebel before dying from intoxication of these vile chemicals!

  5. yes

  6. The FDA reacts more to public pressure.  About 10 years ago we were all screaming at the FDA for their over rigorous testing procedures that were delaying the arrival of new drugs on the market.  They speeded up the procedures and now we are screaming about how they are not rigorous enough.

In a few years they will react to our criticisms by tightening up their procedures - and we will start criticizing them for being too slow.

BTW - something to consider is that those 'big profits' are the reason those companies undertake the incredibly expensive process of inventing new drugs.  If you remove these profits - where are your next generations of improved medications going to come from?

  7. BINGO... exactly correct. We, the American public are guinea pigs for new drugs.

  8. No.  They are bought and sold, particularly under the Bush Administration.  If the Democrats get in, that will end immediately.
