Do you trust the reviews left at trip advisor.com?

The reviews at tripadvisor.com are very helpful and they are often a good tool to use when choosing a hotel. Just keep in mind that everyone has different tastes and views, so what someone my have liked about the hotel, you may dislike, and vise-versa.

Generally, yes. You have to kind of balance one reviewer against another. I usually ignore the very extreme reviews, especially the bad ones. Some people just can't be pleased. I stayed at one hotel in Greece that had received a couple of horrible reviews and it was one of the better hotels I've ever stayed in.

I do. You have to read into the answers and try to filter out different biases the reviewers might have had. Sometimes the individual reviews of places will be polar opposites.
