  1. LBB couldn't of said it better I agree with him....36 here tho...

  2. I will always follow and trust my instincts, they have got me through 37 years of life.

  3. when some things have no logical explanation and even if they do but a nagging feeling persists then i wholly trust my instincts.

  4. I trust my instincts very much.  And a 'little' paranoia never hurt any one.

  5. there are many ways of looking at The word instinct... (it is not a magic prediction ) it is a prediction of something that will happen, based on previous experiences, previous similar situation, and very often, putting yourself at the  place of somebody else, and anticipating his action...

for example I have a feeling that my friend is lying... is the result of knowing and understanding your friend, feeling his tone of voice, knowing his personality..

I have a feeling It will rain today.. some physical changes happen in people body when it will rain

and sometime we produce the event.. I have a feeling I will have an accident is sometime what makes us having an accident.. an unconscious feeling that makes us drive wrong...

you can really know if somebody acts different to know what is in his brain...

the example given.. something misplaced in the house.. is the same thing.. unconsciously you can notice changes that were not made by you..

and lastly we remember only the instincts that were right we forget the wrong  ones... if you feel that your friend stole you money, and you realize he never did.. you forget that you felt that.. but if you are right .. you remember for the rest of your life that your instincts are always rigth

  6. alway trust my instincts and u should too, they r normally right

  7. Yes, as well as my first impressions. Sure I'm paranoid when walking down unlit alleys in the middle of the night in a bad neighborhood as better off for it.

It depends on what I see that's out of place like that guy at the bus stop at 3 a.m. (no bus service) bothers me.

A very book on trusting your instinct (and when not to) is

    "Blink" by Malcolm Gladwell.

  8. Its your built in animal instincts i think.

  9. Don't think so.

Just looking at things with our creator's universal gifts of life.

Looking what God is telling us what to do.

With the dead Mummy with empty skeleton of skull and bones who was dead and buried was long gone with time.

    We can't do that.

So we read as garbage in and garbage out with faulty communication system like a desk-top.

    Luke 9.55-56,60

    What do you think?

  10. It is better to trust your instincts and be wrong, than to ignore them and get your bum burned!  ( sorry for saying "bum" it doesn't have the same impact as ***, but they censor ***.  Mind you, I could've put @ss, I saw somewhere else that someone got away with it, so maybe I will next time!

  11. Yes.

  12. i do trust instincts.

  13. No....I  trust them....but I don't have them over much any more....and never have them over to stay

  14. I always try to trust my instincts, but i do realize that the mind is a very powrful thing.

Usually when i see something out of place,i try my hardest not to be scared and stare at it to see if its real or not.I know that there are natural explanations for a lot of things, but i have experienced enough paranormal happenings in my life to know whats real and whats not.

  15. yes, it wise to trust our instincts.

Of course intellect is important, but sometimes, too much thinking gets in the way of acting, and ptoblems can easily arise.

  16. I usually trust my instincts where ever I am to tell me what the situation is like, but I could become paranoid like that.

  17. These two words "instinct" and "paranoid" have never been defined - perhaps not possible.

But 'instinct' is a positive word , have some positive use also for an individual and in individual capacity. Means .. we may not explain it to others ... and even should not.

Further, may be, as we were animals some thousands yrs ago ( sorry for them who do not believe in the "Theory of evolution" by Charles Darwin ), the animal instinct is still with us. Have seen the 'instinct' of a dog ? (again sorry)

Another point is to be mentioned: most of the scientists believe that till to-day we do not know the full power of our brain, to elaborate, the full power of our brain has not yet been explored. It is said that the saints or 'sadhus' in ancient India, by the use of "Yaga" used to activate the un-tapped brain portion to forecast the future ...!! The discussion do not end here ... it may start and go on. Thanks

  18. I used to do that..tell myself "Don't be paranoid!". You can't imagine how much I regret it! Now I KNOW  to pay attention to things that don't seem right. Like someone(?) said.."If it smells bad...it stinks!!". If you suspect ANYTHING..pay attention to it. You don't have to get all upset and/or accuse others of things..just be AWARE...and act accordingly.  Kids these days especially need to realize this..and look at what's happening to so many college students.! Of course, sometimes you 're in a situation where you're more or less "trapped". You just have to try to figure a way around it or out of it then.  This is a good question. A star for you! I do know that if you "suspect" every little thing..that doesn't work either. It's called "discernment". EVERYBODY needs it..esp. Americans these days!

  19. I trust my instincts, I don't quite understand all of your question however. Maybe it's just because I'm tired.

  20. no i don't
