Do you try to emphasize what your chart says about you?

Because you think it's exactly how you are or how you should be?

Or

Do you not let your chart affect who you are and you don't try to be like how it describes you.. you just are?

For example, your a Leo but before astrology you thought of yourself as serious and introverted, nothing like a Leo.. so you start acting like one just because you think Leo's are interesting and it's your sign.. have you ever done that?

Personally, I think it's ridiculous and that you shouldn't change how you were before you knew about astrology just because that's what astrology says about you.. what are your thoughts about this?

Sun, Moon, Rising, Mercury?

  1. second option.

  2. My chart is what it is, there's no reason to emphasize it.  It's already emphasized.`

  3. Good Question!

In general, I don't really let it affect my life....I just act as myself. However, sometimes I feel a need to do the opposite, and try to be nothing like my sign. I am a contrary person, and I love to rebel against stereotypes, even if they are true or not, so if I read something about my signs that I feel may describe me, and I don't like it, or don't want to identify with it...I will go out of my way to project something different. I don't like being pegged down, so I would rather people mistake me for having different signs in my chart, than the ones that I do have. I use astrology to sometimes understand myself and others, but I still feel that life is a psychological experience, and you can be anything you want to be. The stars make certain things more natural, and they may inhibit you in ways at times also...But I find that when I don't think about them at all, I'm fine, and learn to handle situations in life as one should as a person and member of society, not based on the qualities of my sign.

Sometimes I do use my chart to justify myself....That always annoys my non-believing friends...They think it's just an excuse for my behavior, and that I am not trying hard enough to improve myself. In a sense, I agree..Because negative traits may be explainable by astrology, but it's still no excuse for certain behaviors.

  4. i always see my chart and go by with that only and that affect me a lot

  5. Nothing about me would change based on what some chart said I should be... of course it would be interesting to see that it was similar to the truth. This is strictly for entertainment for me!

  6. I always was interested in my sign from the time I was lilltle, my mother use write her name, my name, my sister name on books with are birthdates and signs. After reading it I asked her what does it really mean & she told me it was a lion & ever since then I began to only take pride of my family because thats how real lions do(lol) but I don't go out talking down on people because of how I feel if I judge them on a negative point of view, I'm still loyal with my acts too.

But I did hear, well read somewhere that as a child your moon(which is a pisces for me) plays more out in your actions than your sun sign do at the time.

  7. what is a cancer supposed to be?

  8. What chart? If you're talking about zodiac, then no. I don't let some gobbledygook tell me who I am or how I should behave. In fact, I'm totally opposite of what it says, so that just proves that it's a bunch of bologna.

  9. A natal or periodic reading can provide valuable insight about your strengths and weaknesses. You must decide what to do about those weaknesses that you recognize in any reading... be it a horoscope or your mother nagging you.

Astrology is NOT destiny. It is merely what might influence your strengths or weaknesses and the possible outcomes.

If I recognize a flaw in myself based upon what a chart says... I may work to eliminate that weakness or bad trait somehow by controlling my tendencies.

What could possibly be bad about that?

As for S,M,R,M... show me yours and I'll sow you mine :-D

  10. I am not like my Sun sign except in the logic and organization of my mind. I am more eclectic than that.
