Do you turn Radio 1 off at 1pm during the week to avoid Edith Bowman!?

I cant take her constant verbal c**p anymore! She knows nothing about music, titters on about nothing and has the most annoying catchphrases in the world. After some research i found most people i know turn off their radio at 12.55 to make sure they dont hear her whining on!

i like you! i couldn't agree more. in fact i can't stand ANY of em' on radio 1 tho' scott mills is ok but i only put up with him for half hour. i don't have the luxury of turning off the radio as i work in a factory. if i get my own way (rare!) i'll put radio 2 on but that can get a bit 'old farty'. i have a digital radio at home and its either on 6 music or planet rock! by far the best radio show is russell brand on r2 and russ howard and jon richardson on 6music sunday 10am

I dint know about Edith Bowman, but she cant be as bad as Sarah Kennedy on BBC 2, if she is she must be unbelievably bad!!

I've turned radio 1 off all together now, their playlist is minimal and very repetative. The regular mid week DJs are same old same old. Although i do find when Sara Cox stands in for them she's like a dose of fresh air.
