Do you use Sponge or a Brush when your applying your foundation?

ALWAYS a brush!  To make your foundation last longer as well as getting a flawless finish, a brush is a must.  I was a tough sell on the brush idea, but once I started using it I won't use anything else.  My foundation is perfectly blended and doesn't look like makeup.  I'm a Clinique rep and we sell brushes for around $30 - but you can find nice ones at Target for around $12.99.  Make sure that you clean your brush. I just use a squirt of facial cleanser or even antibacterial soap. - then let them air dry. Sponges soak up too much makeup and your fingers are a no-no, try a brush - I think you'll love it!

well you can use whichever, but sponges soak up about half of your foundation bottle so its kind of a waste of money hahaha

A sponge will soak up a lot of your foundation and waste it.

I used to use a sponge but now use a brush, and I think the brush achieves more even coverage and blends better than a sponge. Sponges sometimes leave foundation unblended in areas like around the nose or in the crease of the chin, or on the jawline.

I use the MAC foundation brush or MAC 187 brush depending on the finish I want.

If you dampen the sponge and wring it out well before you use it to apply foundation, it won't soak up all your product - plus it makes for a nice dewy finish.

Creme foundation works better with a sponge for me. I don't use liquid foundation at all. In the summer, a tinted moisturizer or a mineral powder are all I need.
