Do you use a specific type of hanger to hang your clothes and do all your hangers match?

What type of hangers do you use, i.e. tube, clear plastic like they use in retail, velour covered hangers in different colors, wire hangers, etc.

I usually fold all of my clothes otherwise most of them stretch out.  When I do use hangers they are usually the thicker plastic colored hangers.

I use the plastic tube ones, and they don't match. For dress pants, I use the clear plastic ones that you find pants hanging on in stores.

I use the tube hangers.  I started out color coding my closet ( white for short sleeved shirts; green for long sleeves, silver for dresses...) but it got complicated.  Now I just hang whatever on whichever tube hanger is available.  I bought the wooden hangers for all my coats and jackets.  They were so heavy they would bend up wire hangers.

I have pitched all the wire hangers in my closet.  I got tired of them rusting and discoloring my clothes.  I kept one that I un-bent for clearing clogged drains.

I use all different kinds, from the colored plastic to the clear plastic to the wire hangers...I use them all. I personally like the colored plastic ones best.

when I left my ex, I also left my hangers there. It wasn't something that I really thought about. I stayed with my parents for a while and when I got my own place....no hangers!! So, I went out and bought about 100 of them. All the same...black plastic

I use plastic hangers in different colors to go with each type of clothing

like black is for dress clothes, white is for summer clothes, green is for fall ect...

We use plastic hangers of different colors..the reason being I live on the ocean and in heavy salt water areas the metal hangers eventually get small corrosion areas on them that turn to rust due to salt air and humidity..eventually your clothes can obtain small streaks of rust on them from the metal hangers...

I am super anal.  I use 3 colors. Blue for jeans and pants pink for t shirt and yellow for all else. I also have my closet color coded...

I use white plastic hangers from Linens N Things. They are sold in packages of 20 for $6.99 and they are stronger that the regular tube hangers. They all match and it keeps the closet looking neat and organized.

all plastic and pink, some black. they have indents so certain shirts dont slide off.

I use Joy Mangano's Huggable Hangers. They really do give you more room in the closet and my clothes don't slide off them. I gave up on those plastic ones.

My first job when I left school was working in a women's dress shop. We were instructed to hang the clothes in colours and sizes of course, all the hangers were the same and all clothes faced the same way. I am now 52 years old, many years have passed since my first job, but the habits never have gone away. My wardrobe is the neatest part of the house (and I certainly am not a clean freak) with all hangers being the same colour in each wardrobe. My husband has white and I have yellow. I face my clothes the same way, so when you are deciding what to wear, you only have to stand on one end of the robe and flick through. It;s annoying when my husband finds something to wear and then decides not to, and tries to re-hang the item...invariably it's faced the wrong way! Cheers!

i only like using plastic hangers for my clothes and usually my hangers are black or another natural color
