Question:

Do you use dual flush toilets in the USA?

I was just wondering how common (or not common) dual flush toilets are over there.

I'm in Australia and dual flush toilets are pretty standard here...the only ones that aren't are usually pretty old models.

I was watching t.v (american show), and they were talking about a dual flush toilet and how great it was, but like it was some kind of great new invention.

I just found it odd...i thought they were pretty common worldwide. What about in the UK..do you guys use dual flush?

Just curious.

For those who don't know...dual flush toilets have a 'half flush' (for wee's, lol) and a 'full flush' (for everything else, he,he).

  1. I used to live in Australia and thought that was a great idea! Unfortunately, it hasn't caught on here, but they are available, just not common. They're also in Europe, too.

  2. never heard of it until now; sounds like a brilliant idea.

  3. no we just have full flushing toilets. also... i'm not positive on this but for you our toilets might flush 'backwards'
