Do you use your debit card or a credit card for most of your purchases?

~~I always try and use my debit card, however circumstances lately has forced me to use my credit card-and I'm so bummed about that! I hate going in debt, but some expenses are not planned and when money is tight it leaves you no choice.~~

Credit card and cash. I hardly ever use my debit card except for withdrawing cash from my account.

I use the debit for everything except for restuarants. Why you ask?  Because once you give your waiter your debit card, they can make a copy and then have a duplicate card made which happens a lot.

hello - if not cash then credit card always.  don't use debit card at all.

Always credit card -- and then I pay the full balance each month so that i never pay any interest.  I gets lots of airline points for free travel, and it is easy to keep track of how much i spend on food, gas, clothing, etc.

I use the good, old cash wherever possible, I use my debit cards only if necessary (e.g purchasing something on the internet). I don't have a credit card and never had one.

I am not concerned about card fraud, as this is always refunded by bank so you normally don't lose any money if someone uses your card, but I am concerned about banks, the government and various companies etc. having access to the transactions and that every transaction you make using your card is on their records for years.

I value my right to privacy.
