Depends.

I have 5 on the bed, but I really only use them if I'm reading in bed. If I'm sleeping, I usually either lay on my side with my head rested on my arm or on my stomach without a pillow.

Yes, but just the corner of it tucked between my shoulder and my head. So I like very thin pillows.
