Solitude, a need for solitude can sometimes be so great that I find myself alone with my thoughts, so matter the size of the crowd around me.  I can sit alone for hours or days and be happy with my own company, but when I tire of me, I want someone close that I love.

A syntactically lean gem of a poem.  I not only value solitude, I cultivate it, harvest it, make a bread of it, and dine on it daily.  I see little need to invite guests, save a few of like mind.
