Do you view feminism as a form of religion?

what do think about this issue? some attorney in New York is suing the federal government for funding feminist groups,claiming it's an irrational movement/religion.

he is also suing nightclubs for discriminating against men for having ladies nights,and the womens studies at Columbia U, also suing to change the definition of domestic violence.

sorry,I cant remember the guys name, but his court cases are active, he's living in New York

  1. Feminism is not a religion, it's a civil rights movement. Some of the fringe-dwelling radicals might treat feminist philosophy as if it were holy writ, but the same could be said of anyone who thinks like a fundie, regardless of their beliefs.

    As for ladies' nights being anti-male discrimination... that's a big steaming pile of bull***!   If ladies' night is discrimination, then what are we to make of men who buy drinks for women? Are they "internalizing their oppression?"  o_0
