I hate Phill Gould commentating. Everything he comments on revolves around his opinion, and what teams should and shouldn't do & how he would do it different. No-one I know likes his commentry and if he was that good, he'd still be coaching. I much prefer Foxtel as it's commentry is better and you also have the option to listen to the commentry or not.

When he is bad he is really really bad (like when he went on and on and on about how the eels try should have been awarded even though he stepped on the line just cause they tried really hard blah blah blah)

But I believe he actually does know what he is talking about unlike some of them, and can give insightful commentary on occasion.

Watch out for Laurie Daley next year - he will be painful!

So in answer to your question yes - but always have someone ready with the mute button for when he starts to think of himself as gods greatest gift to football and rants on.

No Phil Gould is absolutely c**p. His rants about referees are endlessly annoying. He should be sacked immediately
