  1. Yes.

As long as it was of true State of Origin concept. Every fan would like their state to be the winner regardless of which other state was playing. There would be disappointments of course but to barrack for your own state is the ultimate - not the Licorice Allsorts team proposed by the AFL to play the Vics.

WA may not beat the Vics....they may not beat the Crow Eaters .... but they would be great games to watch.

I would not even bother watching the Licorice Allsorts game. I would have as much interest in that as I do when they play those charity matches with all past players & guest players......

  2. Oh yeah. Bring it back. The South Aussies has the players, the talent and the class to beat the VICS.Let's kick a Vic I say.

  3. With greatest respect of course  :)

    h**l yeah!!

Where did you think the term "Kick a Vic" originated!!!

    Go South Australia :)))

  4. Definately!

Us Vics have been practically taken over by the interstates these recent years! Bless Geelong for winning this year but it's embarassing that we have 10 teams and still have managed to have a lot of bottom 8 teams.

It's great to have games where we originated from as great players have played in interstate teams and it brings a didn't flavour to the game when players from all different teams have to play against and with each other.

  5. Yeah for sure, used love watching the games regardless where they were played. It's just a lil worrying when you see a member from your team go down with an injury.

State vs State is the only way to play Origin, not the demo game that will be played this season.

  6. YES!!!!

Us Victorians need to show other states where the game originated from!!!!

  7. Only if its during the off season or during pre-season matches.  I find it boring and too disrupting.

  8. No.  The NRL have the State of Origin which is run very well.

The AFL one would be a joke and there are interstate teams which work for interstate rivalry as promoted by the AFL.

  9. no because south Australians would complain if the match was played out side SA.Yes its true pickup the advertiser every week a SA team travels guess what complant

  10. The VLF/AFL   invented the state of origin in the first place but the nrl really made it work, the problem is as i see it, there are 3 states that are footy mad, sorry 4 if you throw in tassy, but how would it work, the afl could never have a vics v croweaters, then SA v WA, etc, it has to be 2 states in my view to get that rivalry, who should it be, one is certain, Victoria but who is the 2nd  and what happens to the other 2, probably an old fashioned carnival, but when, nah its all too hard,  i loved those games but it got to a stage players were faking injuries so they wouldn't play, its got to be all or nothing, just my opinion.

  11. No, It's a spent force once we had interstate teams, It's almost like state v state now, especially they way the South Australians act.

    Fishing.

  12. nah i dont think so. i mean that would stuff up th game how it is. all th recruiting by teams would be a waste. think they should leave it how it is. Althjough im sure it'll be great to watch but i wouldnt like to loose some of th vic n sa players in wce. it sounds like a good idea but id reather it stay how it is.
