Do you want salvation like in Acts?

Believers were baptised and received the Holy Spirit (evidenced by speaking in tongues), or are you content with some other way?

(Acts 2:4, 37-39; 10:44-48; 11:14-18)

  1. I prefer to actually know what I am saying.  I think it sells itself!  What do you think?

  2. I believe exactly what those scriptures say! A person cannot be saved without evidence of speaking in tongues and being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. If the Bible say that is the way, why would you not want it? No offense to anyone who doesn't believe, I just believe strongly in Acts 2:38.  Being filled is the best feeling a person will ever have and I know from personal experience.

  3. You do NOT have to be baptized or doing anything to go to Heaven other than trust upon the Lord as your Savior.  Romans 4:5 proclaims... "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness."

The only sin which can prevent a person from being saved is UNBELIEF.  Thus, unbelief is the only sin which a person needs to repent of to be saved.

  4. I want the "salvation people" to leave me alone.

  5. I have salvation....thanks to Jesus

  6. I KNOW I received the Holy Spirit. KNOW it.    There is no doubt in my mind.

But I was not given the gift of tongues.  To tell Christians that they do NOT have the Baptism of the Holy Spirit if they do not have tongues is a form of abuse!  It's just not so.

    Eph 4:5    one Lord, one faith, one baptism;

I John 4:15, Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides In him, and he in God."

Eph. 1:13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,"

NOT all are given the gift of tongues.  Each one of us has a different gift.

I Corinthians 12:8-11 "For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discering of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will."

"dividing to every man as he will"

  7. The only God that can "save" you is yourself.

  8. i want it all, i wan2 see God's fire fall from heaven, heal the sick, and speak in tounges... God can do anything, why settle for just the begining when i could go all the way

  9. Absolutely!

As indicated in other answers, you only need believe on the name of Jesus to be saved.  Being filled with the Holy Spirit isn't "required" for salvation, it WILL add the fullness of the blessings He has for you.  Why would you want anything less?

If you doubt what I say, just look at the US... 83% say they are Christian... but it sure dosen't look like 83% are active disciples of Jesus... they may be "saved" but not necessarily walking in the fullness of the Godhead thru the Holy Spirit!

  10. I had salvation; but it was the wrong size and they wouldn't exchange it.
