Do you want the Philippines to be the 51st U.S. State?

When I was in high school, we were told in our social studies class that the Philippines were once offered to be a American state.. If ever it might happen again, would you agree or not? Tell me your thoughts..

I actually don't care if the Philippines will be a state of the US... I just want the Philippines to REPENT... I mean no more corruption and stuff...

Allowing them to join the US would not be a very good idea.

They would become an economic burden on the rest of us.

I dont agree, because Philippines dont need to be an American state. they turned it down because, dey want to be independent and not being slaves to americans.. !and i think just because they hav terrorist doesnt mean dey r nt good, all countries always hav bad people or the terrorist. duh!

I do not.  They are thier own country, with its own problems.  We do not need anymore problem than we already have.  In addition, they have a terrorist problem there as well.
