Check this site out (the one is above). It is mostly about vegetarian and this is true fact. Let me know what you think of it and one thing I would like to say is....Are you going to become a vegetarian or no? Are you already a vegetarian? Well, at least I won't have to force you if you already one. Please read the whole thing too.

  1. yeah some of it may be true but some isnt.... and to be in all serousness that is why some meat eaters dont like veggans and vegetarians because 1. they strech the truth and 2. because they try preaching to the meat eaters that veganism is the way 2 go.--->Well, at least I won't have to force you if you already one<---- my point!!!! and your not gona force me 2 do a d**n thing

oh and a nother thing baby male cows(bulls) make veal, i doubt that so much i doubt that meat companies are gona kill a yearling bull for veal..... do you have any clue as to how much a yearling bull can bring in??? i've already sold 1 for 12,000$(USD) garentee that meat compaines arnit gona make that much off of veal

  2. Sorry but the headline itself is already wrong. The number of vegetarians IS NOT increasing so rapidly.

All the sources are from pro vegetarian websites too. So the data is not even from reliable non-biased sources but from those who wish to promote the lifestyle, (Would you believe as the "truth" an article about the benefits of meat eating from the Cattle Ranchers Association of America? I don't think so)

So many people beleive in so many things and you will always have an equal number of people who will think it's not true. If you think it's true, good for you. Some will not, good for them too.

As for me becoming a vegetarian or not, whether I am going to or not, it's not really any of your business.

Preaching to the choir will not produce any converts. Try this in a different section of Y!Answers and you may hear other "truths" contrary to this article. Or you may convert some, who knows?

  3. I'm vegetarian and I'd already read most of those things. Thanks for sharing, anyway ...

  4. im so happy that im a vegetarian!!

  5. A lot of people will say bad stuff to this, (probbly people who won't give up meat.) But i won't. I think what you are doing is a nice thing, and its deffenitly the truth.  I have been a vegetarian for about 2 years. People are like how do you live without meat, and i am like its not that hard, i have no thoughts of going back to eating meat, there are plenty of substitutes for me. Its not like i have 1 thing to eat. Being a vegetarian is acctually better for you too. =) Live love laugh.

  6. Only one thing I am going to address:

Your website derides factory farming and then in the very next breath talks about how much rainforest is lost to animal production every year.  Well, which way do you want it?  How much rainforest will be lost WITHOUT factory farming?

Not to mention, tropical rainforest does not exist in the US (with the exception of Hawaii) so stats and figures related to US animal production that are tied to rainforest loss are totally misleading and quite underhanded.  Maybe if Brazil had MORE factory farms there wouldn't be so much forest lost (and I won't even bring up how much forest is being plowed over in Brazil to make way for soybeans.)

  7. i'm a vegan....

  8. I love Meat - no matter what you say or show me !

What can I say except - good on you if yr vegetarian because I can't and choose not too. Each to their own.

Let's not forget why we have such big back teeth though (via evolution) - it's not for cracking nuts. We are carnivorous animals. It obvious by our anatomy. It's a simple fact.

Therefore it comes down to choice.

Please note I accept everyone's decision, this is NOT meant to be mean towards vegetarians. Thank you.

  9. You cannot force anyone to become vegetarian, or do anything it is not right... So live and let live. people will eat meat... its a fact

nothing will change that at all... so stop trying to change it

i have been vegetarian all my life, never eaten meat.

    how about you?

  10. Obviously-

Most of the soybeans they're clearing rainforest for are to be fed to factory-farmed cattle.  It's animal feed, only a small percentage is intended for direct human consumption.

Secondly, we import meat from brazil, we don't produce all of our own meat.  What we eat here in the US affects the entire planet.
