  1. USMC, no i dont like to kill people but i will do anything for this country because it lets me do anything

  2. Do you want to live in San Francisco and are do you have AIDS?

Goes to show you,  anyone can make up a dumb sentence with an implied connection between something good and something bad.

  3. Serving our country is one of the best noble professions as an American. Joining the armed forces is not about having to kill, nor being why a person joins, but the honor it brings. If we had not stood up in WW1, WW2, and so on could you image what this country would be like. I bet you would not be on Yahoo Answers asking this question or even here. I honor our vets, and the ones serving now. The Military is about protecting our way of life, beliefs, and liberty.

  4. each service is needed, just try to pick which one is the best for you!and NO!and nobody likes to kill!but as a soldier you can come in a situation where you might have to kill a other person to save your own or a other soldiers life!

  5. I'm wondering where you're coming from with this question.  But to answer...NO...I do not want to be in the military, I leave that to the superior-trained men and women who join (and often carry weapons) as part of their job/career/service in order to serve and protect our country.  Me, I'm too big a wuss to be in the military, but I have to wonder if you would ask this same question of the other brave people who protect us; Our local police departments.

The only people who "like" to kill are deranged criminals.  NOT patriots who risk their lives to protect us from them.

  6. Nobody in the military likes killing other people, but thats sometimes what you have to do in order to defend your loved ones. your nation or your nations interests.....or sometimes simply to stay alive yourself.

The way your question is phrased is designed to offend and upset decent brave people...but you knew that didnt you?

However you have the right to say what you want, and many of your countrymen and women have died and killed in order that you have that priviledge.

  7. I was in the Navy for 25 years, and no, most people who serve would rather not kill.  Killing another human is a very traumatic experience.  Those that do join the service who like to kill, don't last very long as they obviously have a serious mental problem.

  8. navy seals, yes been there done that ! works for me.............

  9. I was in the army back in 1969,and when i grew up on them good old john wayne movies and what have you,one thinks its cool ! but when you have to deal with this c**p its not pretty at all.you have to do your job and when we do well its a good feeling ,in away? but when your brother is hurt or in a body bag.thats when ones needs to get back to whats really going on.so i say no !! but yes to live is only a days victory while being deployed. i guess to each his own,its not my cup of tea the smell of combat is sick enought !!

  10. I am Joining the Navy its not about killing people and its not about likening to kill people is to defend our country and to have a better future

  11. Yeah that’s us; a bunch of blood thirsty killers not satisfied with just two or three kills for the day. WTF!!!! Why do people think that those in the military are interested in killing? I joined the Marines because I’m a logical pacifist. I don’t like war or killing and I don’t think that most normal people like that either. But I also don’t want some idiots bombing my family, my home, my neighbors, or my country. And I know that the only way to ensure peace is to ensure that there are no enemies at the gates; no matter how far those gates extend.

Serving in the military is no different from a dad who wants to protect his wife and kids from intruders. Does the fact that he cherishes the safety and security of his home make him a killer? NO! Rather, it makes him a responsible human being.

The fact of the matter is that one might have to kill another during war, and that’s a reality. It’s a rough job but somebody has to do it. If we didn’t have brave patriots joining the military, we would have been under some totalitarian dictatorship long ago. The truth is that if America had nothing but hippie style pacifists, we would all be under the rulership of idiots such as Hitler or Osama. If you cherish your freedom, then either support the troops or leave.
