Wending through the dew of manic

rain

crashing, again.

I reach the crux and pause:

sleep and silence dancing, hand

in hand and

feral dreams are destroyed

by a final

slumbering smile.

Yes, when I am 143 years old in still in good health, would like to drift off to sleep after having had incredible s*x with a smokin' hot 21 year old babe

  5. Die together with my soulmate, in anyway possible for us to die together i.e. plane crash, car accident, etc. So romantic!

  8. Buk, I have seen that slumbering smile too many times as a volunteer hospice worker on those who HAVE chosen their moment of death...I believe many can and do... they hold on and wait for that final goodbye that wanted to be said, or that last apology that must be done, and then, only then, do they let go....

    then comes that smile.

    ma

  9. No, I wouldn't want to choose the moment of my death. But to steal a line from Country singer Tim McGraw, it's best to "live like you are dying".. I too have served as a Hospice volunteer and saw those with regrets because they couldn't make right that which they kept putting off in life..We  should seize the day Buk, and enjoy the little surprises and blessings that come our way....

  10. I would thaw the chicken, then cook/eat it...

  14. "Hi!",

    Good morning too you!

KFC much better than the frozen chicken. Unless Australia gets what American have where your body can be frozen until they have the technology to bring you back too life. Than I'll be a frozen chicken. Otherwise the good old KFC Crematorium is right for me.

Sizzle and burn cooked to cinders.

    WELL DONE!

    Cheers : )

  15. Nice poem...."feral dreams are destroyed, by a final slumbering smile."

Well, I would like to go out with a smile on my face....not so sure I'd want to choose the moment of my death, though.  I would like to have everything in order before a-goin', and would hope that would be in my sleep, painless.  Remember, don't let my brother cremate me.....that idiot doesn't care about my own wishes.  Thanks for your consideration in this matter.

  16. At times yes.

I'd  choose to be doing something wonderful like riding my bike on a fresh summer morning in a beautiful place. I'd rather have a sudden stroke or a cardiac incident that takes me ,swiftly, out of the picture than malinger, suffering with cancer or developing dementia.
