I am so proud of Hillary Clinton.

During the primary there were so many bruised feelings on both sides.

Both sides saying so many kinds of things.

Usually at the end of the primary they come together because of shared goals.

I didn't think that was even possible, but Hillary Clinton made a believer out of me.

Don't know what will happen, but I'm glad she spoke.

What are your thoughts?

  1. Yes with a rope, She makes me puke

  2. I'm watching CNN now.

They just had a delegate on there who was crying because she didn't know what to do come November.

I want to give her a hug.

  3. Billary had a job to do tonight.  She did what she HAD to do.  This is all an act.  A scripted rehearsed show that's it.  Did you see the look on Michelle Obamas face when they would do a close up - that tells the true story.  The Clintons & the Obamas loathe one another.

  4. Whew.  I do not want to touch a L*****n.

  5. I wouldn't want to touch the hag, even if she paid me to.

  6. I was a Hillary supporter. But she made me think tonight, and she is right...we now need Obama. I will vote yes we can now!

  7. I think you're a little too emotionally attached...

  8. I've been writing this on so many posts, but here it goes:

Hillary did the same thing every other candidate stated, along with her bogus statements about the Republican Party. She is a socialist, for example she said McCain said we have a sound economic system. That is because we have a capitalist system, which is self mending.

Capitalism = People who work hard are rewarded. Opportunities for all, the sky is the limit. Probably the one modern economic system that is successful. It provides competition, which leads to bigger and better products and technologies that make life easier and more manageable. The market is decided by the consumer.

Hillary Clinton basically said she wants the government to interfere more with the economy. Well, that is why we are in this predicament. Republicans and Democrats alike will bail out businesses, such as Fannie Mae, Freddie MAc, and others, but that isn't CAPITALISM. We are becoming Socialist. The government cannot mandate who produces what and how much. We must let businesses that fail, fail.

Hillary Clinton basically showed Socialism at its best. She wants universal healthcare, but guess what?

    1. Government cant handle anything complex.

    2. We'll pay for the healthcare through taxes

3.Just because Americans are uninsured doesn't mean they can't receive health care; nonprofits and government-run hospitals provide services to those who don't have insurance, and it is illegal to refuse emergency medical service because of a lack of insurance.

    4. Healthy people will pay for those who smoke, and are obese

    5. No private practices, less incentive to become successful doctor

    6. Long, Long waiting lines

    7. Health will never be the same

Please: Hillary's speech was pathetic. It showed that she believed the only way of fixing the economy is through government intervention, and that is Socialism.

Socialism = In socialistic society the government determines who produces what and how much. This doesn’t work. In a socialistic society there is no incentive to work or produce. Ultimately all socialistic systems have failed. There are a few in Europe that are still struggling, but their economies are falling behind. Eventually because of the failing businesses all of the government benefits will not have the quality as the programs run in the private sector.

    That is what hillary wants.

Here is a quote explaining the fact that the market is decided by the consumer, "In capitalism, the market determines price, including pay - the price of labour. If some people are paid huge sums, that is because other people believe they have unique talents which are worth paying for. If they fail to perform, then they will stop being rewarded so highly. This is all part of a dynamic capitalist system which values individuality and rewards ability and risk-taking."

    Capitalism- ruled by the individual

    Socialism- ruled by the state

  9. She was great. An incredibly generous speech, but genuine. I am going to give Obama my vote for her sake, also because McCain is totally unacceptable and because of Barack's great acceptance speech. This time it had plenty of substance underneath the rhetoric, and I finally got it. This important election is not about him as a "celebrity;" it is about us as a people. Have we come far enough now to elect such a candidate as either of them? Or will the politics of fear and deception prevail once more? Only FDR and Kennedy before this have had the guts to "take it outside" for their acceptance speeches. And they were two of our greatest presidents.
