No, of course not...I must fell always squeaky clean! Can't imagine getting up, without immediately taking a shower, and taking a bath, before retiring. Cleanliness is next to Godliness!

Power matters, length only matters if you are very far away. Actually metal wire in treetop sometimes is better than very big antenna array. You just have to power it up properly.
